Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.
Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- 18 years of age or over at time of enrolment
- Satisfactorily completed Year 12 or equivalent
- Access to a computer with word processing, PDF reader capabilities and an internet connection
- Ability to read and comprehend course materials
- Ability to allocate appropriate study hours per week
- Access to suitable work placement clothing is required. i.e., black pants, white polo shirt and leather (or leather like) fully enclosed shoes with non-slip soles.

Australian Community & Management College is a specialised registered training organisation that is based in Parramatta the gateway to Western Sydney a five-minute walk from Westfield Parramatta and the Parramatta Transport Interchange. We offer training in Business, Business Administration, Individual Support, Disability and also First Aid and CPR. Our area of specialisation is in Disability as we have close ties with an NDIS provider and are able to offer our students undertaking our Disability qualifications work placement in a number of NDIS programs.
