Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability)

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in the community, home or residential care setting who work under supervision and delegation as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, following an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing and disability or some other reason.

CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) aims to produce ‘work-ready’ graduates who have acquired the knowledge and experience to assist in obtaining employment within the health services industry.

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
  • A current and valid National Police Check (dated within 12 months). Please note that online checks are also accepted.
  • If you currently hold a Department of Communities & Social Inclusion (DCSI) Screening Check for working in the Aged Care Sector and with Vulnerable People please talk with our Admissions team about requirements for screening checks.

Work Placement: This course includes 120 hours of industry placement in an approved aged care (or equivalent) facility setting.
