The Certificate III in Individual Support is designed to provide training to entry level workers who want to work specifically in residential aged care facilities, community care and nursing homes.
It is perfect for people who are wanting to start a career as a care worker, as well as for those who are already working in the area but who need to formalise their qualifications in order to take the next step in their career.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Admission requirements are completion of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3, for both literacy and numeracy, Applicants must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test, students need to be at a minimum age of 17 upon enrolment, with the expectation of turning 18 by the end of that enrolling calendar year, trainees must have a Registered Training Agreement with their employer.
