Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the roles of health care workers in the community-setting home care and/or residential facilities who follow an individualised plan and provide person-centered care to individuals who may require support due to ageing or disability or from needing home support. The work involves using consideration and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for oneself. The students will gain a range of factual, practical and procedural knowledge, as well as theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred care and approach.
