Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate III in Horticulture covers plant species, growth and protection. Learn to identify threats to plant health such as pests and diseases and to implement plant and turf nutrition programs. It includes workplace health and safety protocols, equipment use and maintenance.
Horticulturalists use their botanical knowledge for the propagation, preservation and protection of plants. They design landscapes, manage soil and turf and control weed and pest infestations.
They work in a diverse range of industries from gardening and seed propagation to fruit and vegetable production, retail and research.
