This program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to work as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, aged care facilities, and community health centres.
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to perform various duties as an AIN, including assisting with basic nursing care, providing personal care, supporting patients’ mobility, and assisting with diagnostic procedures. Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Successful completion of an Australian Year 10 course or equivalent.
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance (NCC) or Australian Federal Police (AFP) Clearance certificate
- Required immunisation
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Students must declare a disability or disorder (if any), or if they are on any medication which may require reasonable adjustments.
