Certificate III in Hairdressing
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of hairdressers who use a range of well-developed sales, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients. They use discretion and judgement to provide client services and take responsibility for the outcomes of their own work.
This qualification provides a pathway to work as a hairdresser in any industry environment, usually a salon.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Students must have an apprenticeship employment in a Hairdressing Salon to complete this qualification.
- Students must competently complete a Language Literacy & Numeracy skills check before commencing this course.
- All prospective students are invited to attend an interview and tour of HBA, before an enrolment is processed. Eligibility conditions apply for acceptance in this course.

hba’s training pathways are specialised to give students the greatest chance of success. You can choose between hair and beauty qualifications or apprenticeships, nail courses, or barbering courses. Our highly trained staff take the guess work out of deciding what coarse is right for you.
Our staff are highly trained professionals with qualifications including University and international training. By constant monitoring of the beauty and hair industry hba is able to keep in touch of changes and update our curriculum as required. Hba has the most modern training and equipment available with two commercial salons and a day spa on site, where the student is the professional providing the hair and beauty services. We also have two fully equipped beauty training rooms and a nail technology room.
