According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, the number of people working as wood trades workers (including furniture finishers) is expected to see stable future growth. Opportunities are available in manufacturing, retail trade and construction with employers looking for workers who are reliable, work well in a team, and have a strong work ethic.

In this course you will learn how to polish timber furniture and other fine timber products including musical instruments. You will gain practical skills and knowledge needed to prepare and finish timber, interpret plans, estimate and cost jobs, and apply graining and decorative finishes.

Delivered in our state-of-the-art furniture making facilities or on the job, this apprenticeship provides you with the skills and knowledge needed to become a furniture finisher or worker.
