Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate III in Formwork/Falsework provides a trade outcome in carpentry formwork/falsework, covering content for both residential and commercial applications.
This practical course is delivered on the job, allowing participants to learn, validate and improve their skills and knowledge within their trade.
The core units of competency in the qualification cover common skills for the construction industry as well as specialist units in formwork construction field of work.
Training for this qualification is conducted on the job over 12 months.
There are no prerequisites, however you should be employed in a suitable position within the building and construction industry.
You should also hold the unit CPCWHS1001 Work Safely in the construction industry (White Card) before commencing this program, or within four weeks of commencing. NCT can refer you to quality providers that deliver this unit.
