Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Progress your career by completing this qualification to become a trade recognised fitter or turner. With greater demand in maintenance, repair and modifications, fitters and turners have opportunities in a range of industries.
This course will cover theoretical and practical aspects of the manufacture, repair and replacement of engineering components for a variety of machinery. You will design and manufacture modifications and gain skills in the maintenance of plant and equipment, shipping machinery and power stations. Our teachers will help you develop the ability to work effectively and safely using specialist tools and equipment.
Successful completion of this course will allow you to apply to become a qualified fitter and turner and take your career to the next stage.
