Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician qualification effectively prepares apprentices for a career in the electrotechnology sector, focusing on practical skills, safety, and industry standards. This four-year program is for employment-based apprentices in Western Australia (WA), preparing them for career in the Electrical Industry, and when completed the learner can apply for an Unrestricted Electrician's Licence.
It covers skills and knowledge essential for electrical systems and equipment in buildings and premises, including installation, testing, fault finding, repair, and maintenance, aligning with the Essential Performance Capabilities of an Unrestricted Electrician’s Licence.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
A training contract must be signed through an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) and registered with the WA Department of Training and Workforce Development – Apprenticeship Office. ‘On the job’ training must be provided by an employer holding a current WA Unrestricted Electrician’s Licence.
