Certificate III in Electrical Fitting
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The UEE33020 Certificate III in Electrical Fitting is a comprehensive apprenticeship program that equips learners with specialised skills in electrical fitting, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations, preparing them for a career as an Electrical Fitter.
This program, designed for a duration of four years is for employment-based apprentices in Western Australia (WA), leading them towards a Electrician's Licence specifically endorsed for "Electrical Fitting Work Only".
The qualification focuses on competencies in manufacturing, fitting, assembling, operating, testing, fault finding, altering, and repairing electrical equipment. It includes electrical wiring work related to the assembly, maintenance, termination, or alteration of wiring in plant or machinery.
The CET provides enrolments throughout the year subject to apprentice numbers. Please contact the College administration team for specific course commencement dates.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
A training contract must be signed through an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) and registered with the WA Department of Training and Workforce Development – Apprenticeship Office. ‘On the job’ training must be provided by an employer holding a current WA Unrestricted Electrician’s Licence or a current WA Electrician’s Licence endorsed for Electrical Fitting work only.
