Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course equips students to work in childcare or early childhood education environments such as kindergartens and childcare centres. Students learn to safely and ethically care for children of a wide range of ages and cultural backgrounds.
They support children’s play and learning while maintaining their wellbeing, safety, and healthy development. Graduates can operate as part of a team or independently, and can work within established rules and guidelines.

Blended
Combine the flexibility of online learning with the support of on campus learning.
Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Hold, or be eligible to hold the following clearances:
- a National Police Check
- a DHS Working with Vulnerable People and those with Disability clearance
- a Working with Children Check
- a Safe Environments for Children certificate.
Be a minimum of 18 years of age
Be up to date with current COVID-19 vaccination requirements as they apply in your area (and have evidence to show this if needed).
Have a working grasp of English, both written and spoken.
Be competent with general numeracy (counting and sums) and able to use common digital technology such as phones and personal computers.
