Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This qualification will enable you to become an early childhood educator, who contributes to planning for and providing educational experiences and care for infants, young children and school aged children.

Educators are supported to use organisational policies, procedures and individual children's profiles to plan educational experiences and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play, and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes.

This qualification supports understanding and implementing the 'Early Years Learning' Framework and/or the 'My Time Our Place' Framework and develops knowledge of the National Quality Framework

Learners must provide a current HLTAID012 – Provide first aid in an education and care setting certificate.
