Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 17 years of age at the commencement of the program.

Students must be able to participate in assessable industry placements to successfully complete the course. A current Working With Children Check card is required for placement and proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required for placement by individual centres or businesses.

Candidates must be able to physically complete the practicum requirements of this course.

Candidates must present evidence of COVID-19 vaccination to be eligible for on-campus studies and practical placement in an education and care service.

Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.

Government Funding

The Australian government provides funding to help students who are completing the CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. The type of funding you receive depends on the state that you live in.

Nationally Recognised Training
