It is the minimum qualification to gain employment in ACECQA approved early childhood services and often the qualification studied for those wanting to begin their career in early childhood education.
This nationally recognised qualification is the legal minimum requirement you need as a childcare worker. You will learn how to care for children and nurture their development from qualified early childhood educators with current skills, knowledge and strong links to industry.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Literacy and numeracy Test
Be Covid 19 Vaccinated (required to complete vocational work placement)
It’s preferred that students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent.
Students will be required to provide a current National Police Certificate and BLUE Card prior to commencing work placement.
