Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)If you are passionate about the development of young children and want to learn more about providing quality education and care in a range of environments, this course is for you.
The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care can provide entry level job opportunities in early childhood centres, home based care, or school-based environments, however many students go on to study higher level courses while employed within the field.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
All applicants are required to attend an interview, Applicants must complete the Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) assessment and achieve an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3 for literacy and numeracy., Be physically and mentally capable of engaging professionally with children, families, and colleagues for approximately 7.5 hours x 9 days per fortnight, Be physically capable of sustaining CPR for at least two (2) minutes on the floor to successfully complete the requirements of the course, Parental agreement for students under 18 years of age required.
Please note: All students need to be able to obtain a volunteer Working With Children Check prior to undertaking work placement., Students who are aged under 17 years require a completed Transition from School form from their school, Trainees must have a Registered Training Agreement with their employer
