Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

During the course we will work with you to arrange a suitable venue(s) for work placement and if you meet our requirement will organise it on your behalf. At the end of the course, you will be expected to have completed a minimum of 160 hours of work placement so that we can assess ability to implement your training under working conditions.

To be able to attend the work placement it is a mandatory requirement from the placement facilities that students will need to have:

  • A current Working with Children Check (WWCC). It is your responsibility to apply for the WWCC and cover any associated costs. This is a mandatory industry requirement.
  • Obtained the relevant clearances and screening checks for that facility (eg DHS vulnerable person, RRHAN-EC, Safe Environments for children and young people through their eyes, national police clearance etc)
  • Required vaccinations, set by the work placement partner, national & state governments.
