Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
During the course we will work with you to arrange a suitable venue(s) for work placement and if you meet our requirement will organise it on your behalf. At the end of the course, you will be expected to have completed a minimum of 160 hours of work placement so that we can assess ability to implement your training under working conditions.
To be able to attend the work placement it is a mandatory requirement from the placement facilities that students will need to have:
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC). It is your responsibility to apply for the WWCC and cover any associated costs. This is a mandatory industry requirement.
- Obtained the relevant clearances and screening checks for that facility (eg DHS vulnerable person, RRHAN-EC, Safe Environments for children and young people through their eyes, national police clearance etc)
- Required vaccinations, set by the work placement partner, national & state governments.

- SA Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the SA Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.

Payment plans are available and are organised between the training organisation and the student. Minimum deposit of $150 is required.
