This course is designed for those working in the construction trades as a Concreter. Delivered on-site* in a flexible way that suits your work, we will come to your work site and assess you while you are working. The delivery is designed to fit in with a modern working environment including online content and workplace simulations.
This qualification reflects the role of concreters working in concreting operations on residential and commercial projects. Occupational titles include: concreter concrete tilt panel fabricator. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work (i.e. concreting). The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in an actual workplace or very closely simulated workplace environment, and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context. Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to concreting in some states and territories. Relevant state and territory regulatory authorities should be consulted to confirm these requirements.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
To be eligible for this course you must be currently working in the industry as a concreter, with a minimum 5 years experience and access to a live worksite. You must also satisfy the prerequisite numeracy and literacy skills.
