This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator working in civil construction. It covers common skills for the construction industry, as well as specialised skills for different areas of work.
To work on a construction site, you need to have the right training. The National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) requires that you complete the “CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry” unit or its equivalent. By doing so, you will receive a nationally recognised qualification for preparing for work in the construction industry.
