Certificate III in Carpentry
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Are you working as an unqualified carpenter or looking to formalise your existing skills and knowledge? If so completion of this qualification will give you the opportunity to become a recognised tradesperson, enabling you to deliver both residential and commercial applications on building and construction sites.
The qualification addresses the knowledge and skills required in areas such as reading plans and calculating measurements, constructing floor, wall, ceiling and roof frames, installing roof trusses, eaves, claddings and linings, demolishing, setting out and levelling construction sites and even working with formwork and concrete.
This qualification is highly regarded in the Building and Construction industry, enabling you to progress to Builder status, owning your own business and becoming a registered builder.
Successful completion of this qualification and the approved Managerial Course is the minimum requirement for applying for a Trade Contractor – Carpentry License.
