Certificate III in Beekeeping
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is designed to give you the skills and knowledge you need to become a honey bee Beekeeper through undertaking nationally recognised training.
In this course, you’ll gain skills in selecting and establishing an apiary site, how to use a bee smoker and manage honey bee swarms, as well as how to extract a honey crop from a hive. You’ll also learn how to construct and repair beehives and manage pests and disease within a honey bee colony, as well as open and reassemble a beehive, re-queen a honey bee colony and manipulate a honey bee brood.
