Over a 24-month period, students will be trained across various tasks relating to the service and repair sector (Part’s Department) performed in the Automotive industry. Some tasks may include; carrying out storage and stock control procedures, materials handling, customer advice and sales activities, receiving and filling orders and organising dispatches, identifying auto parts/components including consulting catalogues, microfiche and computer databases. The knowledge gained during this course is applicable to a sales professional within the automotive industry. Qualified students can seek employment opportunities such as a Vehicle Salesperson, Farm Machinery Salesperson or a Motorcycle Salesperson.
