Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology

This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to paint, refinish, repair and maintain painted surfaces to a range of automotive vehicles, recreational vehicles and other vehicles within the automotive industry. This qualification may also cover non-automotive which may include industrial machinery and tools. This qualification may be accessed by direct entry. This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship.

The Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology is intended to prepare new employees or recognise and develop existing workers who are painting and maintaining painted surfaces on a range of vehicles and non-vehicle applications.

Through its Group Training Operations, MMTC Ltd works with employers and job seekers to identify and fill suitable Apprenticeship/Traineeship opportunities. Under this system the Apprentices/Trainees are employed by MMTC Ltd and on-hired to suitable Host Employers who are able to provide high quality work experience and training.
