Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology is a nationally recognised qualification that provides the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified automotive electrician.
This course is designed to develop competencies in the diagnosis, repair, and installation of electrical systems and components in motor vehicles. Students will gain practical, industry-relevant experience working with modern automotive electrical systems including charging, starting, lighting, and electronic control systems.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- The candidate must complete 18yrs of age or older at the time of course commencement.
- Potential candidates may be asked to undertake an LLN Assessment / Enrolment Interview prior to acceptance.
- The candidate needs to ensure that they have completed anyone of the following:
- Australian Year 11 or an equivalent level of schooling or a
- IELTS Requirements:
The candidates need to secure the English level of IELTLS 6.0 overall, with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent such as:
- IBT 60
- PTE Academic 50
- CAE 169
- OET C
- Duolingo 95
- General English Advanced*
- MOI Certificate
- Certificate III or Higher Qualification with an Australian Institution. - Confidence to Conduct Workshop Training (including physical activities like lifting. Etc.,)
- Prospective students may also have to undergo an interview to verify the details submitted & ensure the options selected are based as per their calibre.
*General English Upper Intermediate is generally considered to be between 5-5.5 IELTS.
