Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This qualification reflects the role of individuals who service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components in vehicles in the automotive electrical service and repair industry.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have completed at least Year 10 or equivalent.
  • Participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs.
  • Domestic students must have sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills as tested through a language, literacy and numeracy assessment. Students will need to achieve ACSF level3 for reading, writing, numeracy and oral communication to enter the course.
