Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology (Light Vehicle)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to be able to perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of Electric Vehicles in the automotive service and repair industry.
You will gain and apply a broad set of skills and knowledge on a variety of electric vehicles in the automotive mechanical service and repair sector. You will be able to service, repair and maintain electric vehicles and particular components of electric vehicles such as high voltage batteries and systems, steering and suspension or cooling systems. These skills and knowledge can be applied to a range of Automotive Electric Vehicle roles.
Light Vehicle Specialisation reflects the roles of individuals who service, diagnose and repair battery electric vehicles and components in the light vehicle automotive, service and repair industry who carry out work according to Australian Standards (AS) 5732 Electric vehicle operations - Maintenance and repair on light vehicles such as passenger vehicles. (Nissan Leaf, Tesla Model 3, and hybrid vehicles)
