This qualification covers the essential knowledge and skills required to work and succeed in a warehousing environment. Our subjects cover foundational topics such as: Despatching Goods, Receiving and Storing Stock, and also how to follow security procedures for cargo and goods. Critical communication skills are covered in-depth to ensure that learners can work effectively with colleagues and customers. This program specifically addresses legal current obligations under Workplace Health and Safety, Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management laws in a practical and engaging way.
A warehouse or logistics environment is necessary to be able to undertake practical activities required in this qualification, eg picking products; putaway; inventory stocktake, manual handling. A minimum 70 hours of work must be undertaken.
