Certificate II in Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Learn a valuable skill to add to your electrical license, increasing your ability to earn extra money doing installations. Gain the knowledge and skills to install split systems and heat pump systems (maximum plant capacity 18kWr).
In this course you'll learn to assemble components, pressure and leak test refrigerants, understand legal obligations, and workplace health and safety standards.
This course is delivered using a mix of on-campus delivery and Recognition of Prior Learning. On-campus units are delivered intensively over a 4 day period whilst competency in remaining units is assessed via Recognition of Prior Learning.
