Certificate II in Salon Assistant
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This entry level qualification will give you the start you need to work in a hairdressing salon. You'll obtain the skills, knowledge and confidence to get your career as a hairdresser underway and improve your opportunities for obtaining a hairdressing apprenticeship.
As a salon assistant you will be the first staff member to greet a client for their appointment. It's your job to provide them with excellent customer service and ensure that the hairdressers have what they need throughout each appointment.
