Certificate II in Plumbing (Pre-apprenticeship)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate II in Plumbing (Pre-apprenticeship) prepares graduates with the skills and knowledge for entry into an apprenticeship (Certificate III in Plumbing) in one of the various sectors of the plumbing industry.
The outcome of this course does not meet the requirements for a registered plumber. This course is designed specifically for those from a range of age groups and backgrounds interested in obtaining employment as a plumbing apprentice.

- There are no mandated entry requirements.
GOTAFE entry requirements
Before being accepted into the course applicants must:
- Complete a Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) online test to ensure the required literacy & numeracy levels for the course are met.
- Undertake a Pre-training Review by interview to ensure the course suits their needs and aspirations, and that they are likely to complete the course successfully.
- Prospective VDSS students are required to apply through their School's VET Coordinator or Careers Advisor.

- VIC Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the VIC Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
