This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to disability or some other reason.

You will gain the knowledge and skills to work effectively with people with a disability, enabling them to maintain independence, provide individualised support, safety procedures, working with cultural diversity and workplace safety.

This course includes a compulsory work placement.
