Certificate II in Horticulture

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This qualification will allow you to work in a gardening, nursery and landscaping setting. You'll gain the basic skills and knowledge required to work in the horticultural industry as well as WHS. All of our classes are small, have extensive resources and are run by highly experienced lecturers. During your studies you will gain on the job skills in a structured work placement.

This course is also available for interested individuals, including people registered as unemployed and/or clients referred by community agencies - no prior experience is required. You may be able to attain a triple qualification, adding the Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management and Certificate II in Landscaping to this Certificate II in Horticulture, talk to staff when you enrol.

North Metro TAFE also offers a program of this qualification for students who have an intellectual or learning disability to help you reach your goals. Our Disability programs give you the opportunity to advance your career or training prospects.
