Certificate II in Engineering - Production Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Launch your engineering career with this specialised trade qualification in production technology. This qualification has been specifically developed to meet the minimum training requirements for employment as an engineering/manufacturing employee level IV.
In this course you'll gain manufacturing industry skills across a range of welding processes including MIG and TIG welding — otherwise known as gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). You'll also learn how to lift and move materials manually, interpret technical drawings, use mechanical measuring devices, and perform computations used in a range of engineering disciplines.
Successful completion of this qualification will set you up for a career in manufacturing, engineering or related environments.
