Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification defines the skills and knowledge required of an engineering/manufacturing employee within metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries.
The skills associated with this qualification are intended to apply to a wide range of engineering/manufacturing work, including production, distribution, stores and warehousing. It provides the skills and knowledge for a person to be responsible for the quality of their own work, work from complex instructions and procedures, coordinate work in a team environment or work individually under general supervision and assist in the provision of on-the-job training of other workers.
