Certificate II in Drainage

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Set yourself on the path to gaining a drainer's licence with this entry-level course. Develop the practical skills and knowledge to perform routine tasks to maintain stormwater, drainage and sewerage systems.

According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, there is strong future job growth predicted for drainage, sewerage and stormwater labourers. Employers are looking for qualified candidates who are reliable, physically fit, and have a strong work ethic.

You will develop basic skills in how to plan, install, repair, maintain and test below-ground sanitary drainage and stormwater, as well as levelling and the installation of domestic treatment plants. Our courses are taught by trade-qualified teachers and endorsed by industry. Our large-scale training spaces replicate commercial and residential settings to deliver a "real-world" training experience.
