This course will help you develop basic skills and a working knowledge of the conservation industry and is an ideal starting place for individuals who want to work in indigenous land management, conservation earthworks, lands, parks and wildlife or natural area management.
This qualification will give you core skills in work and safety procedures, environmentally sustainable work practices, recognising plants and fauna, treating weeds, maintaining natural areas, planting trees and shrubs and implementing revegetation works.
Successful completion of this course will give you the practical skills and confidence you need to seek employment as a landcare assistant.
