Certificate II in Community Services

The Certificate II provides an introduction to the general field of community services.

You will gain the essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills by completing this qualification. You will learn how to work with local government and community organisations to identify community and individual support needs, and then plan and develop appropriate services and facilities in order to meet those needs. Areas of work may include aged care; disability support; alcohol and other drugs; financial aid; front of house/reception work; social work or counselling; and mental health support.

You will cover language, literacy and numeracy; further study and job options; study skills as well as communication and computing.
