Certificate II in Building and Construction Pre-apprenticeship
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The course is a pathways qualification, designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to undertake an apprenticeship within the building and construction industry sectors.
The combined skills and knowledge of the pre-apprenticeship course do not provide for a job outcome as a qualified tradesperson as this course is intended to prepare individuals for further training.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Complete a Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB)an online test to ensure the required literacy & numeracy levels for the course are met.
- Undertake a Pre-training review interview to ensure the course suits their needs and aspirations, and that they are likely to complete the course successfully.
- Prospective VDSS students are required to apply through their School's VET Coordinator or Careers Advisor.
