Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology

This course is a stepping stone to an apprenticeship or traineeship in a range of workplaces including under body repair, tyre and brake front end specialists, auto electrical, outboard mechanical, motor bike mechanical, spare parts sales and general automotive repairs.
According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, automotive electrical skills are in demand with employers finding it hard to fill vacancies for qualified automotive electricians. Queensland has the largest share of workers in this industry with stable future growth predicted over the next five years.
Learn to perform: basic diagnostic procedures, install, test and repair wiring on vehicle lighting systems and electrical security components, install ancillary electrical equipment, perform minor repairs to electrical circuits, inspect and service batteries, and more.
Completion of this course will set you apart from the rest when applying for apprentice, trainee or other roles in the automotive industry or other related sectors.
