Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Carrying out work in relation to RAC equipment means to do anything with a fluorocarbon refrigerant, or a component of RAC equipment, that carries the risk of refrigerant being emitted, including: decanting the refrigerant, manufacturing, installing, commissioning, servicing or maintaining RAC equipment or decommissioning RAC equipment.

About Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers
The Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers (IAME) is a membership organisation that was established in 1936 to create a joint network for people in all aspects of the Automotive Industry.
Governed by a National Council of 12 who serve on various relevant committees, the Institute remains relevant, dedicated and passionate about their members and the Automotive industry. Our dedicated staff hail from a variety of different backgrounds, helping bring diversity and knowledge to the organisation. With branches located around the country we are on hand to support, assist and recognise all IAME members day in and day out.
The IAME achieve this by providing industry Training, Trade Nights, Local Information Sessions and Seminars, as well as Auditing, Assessing and Consulting Services. Members also benefit from industry updates, events and technical advice via our Facebook page and our printed journal 'The Automotive Engineer'.
