The Certificate I Spoken & Written English assists adult learners of non- English speaking backgrounds to develop language and literacy skills. Learners entering this course are assessed as beginners with remedial learning needs arising from limited or disrupted schooling. The learning focus for the Certificate I Spoken and Written English is to develop English Language skills to be able to progress to further study.

About SuniTAFE

Established in 1980, SuniTAFE was the brainchild of a number of local educators, who recognised that access to post-secondary education was integral to the needs of the growing Sunraysia community and regional industry.

While starting out small, SuniTAFE has grown into a vibrant educational community that includes the two main campuses at Mildura and Swan Hill, as well as a training farm at Cardross.
