Certificate I in General Education for Adults
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate I in General Education for Adults is the recognised qualification to achieve foundation literacy and numeracy skills.
Students will enhance reading, writing, numeracy, communication, and digital literacy for personal, community, or workplace purposes. Upon completion, students will have gained confidence in general reading, writing, and numeracy.
This course is for people who may not have completed their High School/Secondary College education and want to undertake other courses or be employed in the future.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Complete a Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) online test to ensure the required literacy & numeracy levels for the course are met.
Undertake a Pre-training Review by interview to ensure the course suits their needs and aspirations, and that they are likely to complete the course successfully.
