Certificate I in Construction
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The course can be delivered to individuals looking for an entry level qualification into the Construction industry and who are no longer attending school. The skills developed by completing this course give students a thorough understanding in the basics of the construction industry.
Students will complete a range of theoretical and practical tasks and projects throughout their training. Students who completed this course and in particular the unit CPCCWHS1001 are eligible to receive a White Card (required for entry to a construction worksite).
Students will be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy indicator prior to commencing their training.
This qualification has been superseded and is currently in a transition to a new qualification. In line with our registering body requirements the existing qualification is still able to be enrolled in, completed and have qualifications issued. Core will be offering the new qualification within the next 6 – 12 months.
