Certificate I in Basic Financial Literacy
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is designed to facilitate an understanding of the Australian financial services marketplace and personal financial situations to address the need of increased nationwide financial literacy. The qualification provides learners with the basic skills and knowledge to pursue further learning in a variety of sectors in the financial services industry. It has wide application and may be used in workplaces, schools, adult and community learning organisations or registered training organisations to build the financial literacy of learners. It may also be used as part of pre-vocational or new apprenticeship programs, or as part of services provided by counselling or advisory organisations. It does not have an industry employment outcome.
