Certificate I in Animal Care Industry Pathways

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This qualification provides a pathway to learn about work in the animal care and management industry and to assist with routine activities performed under close supervision in an animal care facility or service organisation.

In this course students will learn how to care for a range of small domestic and wild animals, they will provide their daily food, clean their enclosures and wash and groom the animals. Students will also learn about different animal behaviours and how to handle them correctly.
