Basic Worksite Traffic Controller (BWTC)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Basic Worksite Traffic Management & Traffic Controller (BWTM & TC) three (3) day course is a mandatory requirement to work on roads and control traffic within WA. The course provides participants the theory and practical skills required to implement traffic management and control traffic for works on roads, ensuring traffic flow is maintained and the safety risk to all road users and workers is minimised. The course is delivered face to face and training includes classroom activities, theory questionnaires, group activities, implementing traffic signs and conducting traffic control using real live road environments. Assessments include theory questionnaires, practical application and observation using a range of locations and scenarios. This course is ideal for a wide variety of job roles such as Traffic Controllers, General Labourers, Landscapers, Plant Operators, Site Supervisors and Project Managers.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Current or previous valid and recognised driver’s licence by Department of Transport WA (We accept those who are currently on provisional licences, however, we are unable to accept learners permits)
Hold evidence of being issued a valid Construction Induction Training Card also referred to as (Blue/White) Card.
