Basic Rigging Course
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Basic Rigging course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to perform a variety of rigging tasks safely and efficiently across diverse industrial settings. As part of this course, students will learn about the fundamental principles of rigging operations, moving, placing, and securing loads, steel erection, material and mast-climber hoists, placement of pre-cast concrete, safety nets, cantilever crane loading platforms (CCLP), static lines and perimeter safety screens and shutters.
By the end of the Basic Rigging course, participants will have demonstrated competency in performing basic rigging duties safely and efficiently. They will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to contribute effectively to rigging operations in their respective industries while prioritising safety at all times.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Current DG class HRWL.
- 18 years of age.
- Proficient (read and write) with basic English.
- Three (3) forms of eligible EOI.
