In all these processes, an Urban and Regional Planner has been involved. You can explore town planning with UniSQ’s Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (Honours).
As the only university in Queensland that offers a fully online planning qualification, your studies will cover both the Queensland and New South Wales planning legislation and equip you to be an Urban and Regional Planner and designer of the future for cities, regional and rural areas.
Study online or on-campus and gain practical experience through a number of residential schools at UniSQ Toowoomba.
Choose a research project in your fourth year to investigate a specific urban and regional planning area, which also can provide a pathway for further study and research.

- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Subject pre-requisite: English (Units 3 & 4, C) or equivalent
To study this degree we also assume you have sound knowledge in: General Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C)
We assume that your knowledge is equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at high school level (typically studied in Year 12).
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
