Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Statistics)
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationLearn through theory and practice how to apply the tools of modern statistics to real-world scientific problems. Examples include the improvement of medical treatments through better experimental design, and the use of meteorological data to assess drought conditions. Students undertake a research project and advanced level courses in mathematics, statistics, and probability theory.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Prerequisites
All fields of study (excluding Psychology):Bachelor of Science (or equivalent), with:
- a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale, and
- a GPA of at least 4.5* for 8 units of courses at level 3 or higher relevant to the honours project, and
- have secured an honours project and supervisor, and
- satisfied any additional requirements set by the head of school.
* GPA of at least 5.0 for the Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics fields of study.
Psychology field of study:Bachelor of Science (or equivalent), with:
- a grade point average (GPA) of 5.0 for level 2 and 3 courses in the Psychology extended major, and
- satisfied any additional requirements set by the head of school.
